    ... 268 steps, which is tiring in the HK sun. But the statue is really worth seeing - very peaceful and wise looking. And the views from the top of the hill are amazing.

    When we returned to the city we took the big double-decker bus up to Richard's place. This bus goes a slightly different way up the mountain, and offers great views from the top deck!

    ... on the local the fish and fresh produce market. The place was a blur of activity as the vendors hawked their wares, preparing seafood and filleting fish with an amazing speed and dexterity. Surprising, the products were so fresh, the place did. It smell at all. It would be so wonderful to have access to the same fresh produce at home (with a similar price tag!)     Christmas dinner was amazeballs. Yes I said it. It was. Unlike Christmas dinners of the past (not that I'm knocking the traditional turkey, gravy and veg) this was most definitely a fusion of all things yummy.     ... at Sunny bay waiting for the train that supposedly took us to the cable car, with speakers booming 'next train to Disney land in five minutes' and maps with Disney land written all over them and we still didn't realise where we were going!
