... not look at all that appetizing. What I wouldn't give for a vegetable!

The flight to Hong Kong was 3 1/2 hours. We arrived at around 9:30pm. We got into a questionable looking cab, the driver drove really fast. At one point in our commute a police man on a motorcycle tried to get our driver to pull over. The driver appeared to ignore the cop. We continued to barrel down the freeway, windows open as it ...

Although China is famous for cheap prices, living here for two months, I’ve come to remiss the quality I used to find back home and elsewhere. The hop on hop off tour is well worth it, we experienced seeing double decker trams, the money exchange area, ...

... of salespeople. Jo showed polite interest but we managed not to buy anything.

The final stop was the Stanley Market which is world famous for clothes, jewellery, Chinese handicrafts and curios. We had a good look round but did not buy anything (actually we didn’t have any money). Stanley Bay nearby is somewhat reminiscent of a seaside resort in the UK with typical English pubs but also Starbucks and MacDonald’s situated adjacent to each ...

Ok let's start by going back to yesterday. Jet lag and poor timing has meant that we hadn't seen the Hong Kong skyline at night, and it so happens that on Mondays the commentary for the nightly symphony of lights show takes place in English, so off we trot. En route we decided we would take pictures in the sweetshop of unusual charm (unusual to us), hope you like them folks. Mission accomplished we brave the underground with spectacular success and arrive ...
