... in the subway for some reason there was a policeman with a gun with another policeman doing something that I can't really remember. The other time was when they were taking the money from a store to an armored truck. I highly doubt that Hong Kong has gun rights the way that the United States does, but in China you absolutely NEVER see guns. In Hong Kong they seem a lot more commonplace.

Got to bed around 11 pm and got up around 7 or so. Got on ...

With jet lag a major player, both of us struggled to get a good nights sleep (& it had nothing at all to do with me coughing my asthma cough all night either!!) Deepwater bay is more popular with locals with it's sweeping beach and netted swimming area.. seems sharks frequent often..
Repulse Bay is a tourist hot spot.. once a haven for pirates ..circa 1860.. thousands congregate on weekends.. the beach is dotted with trees for shade.. most unusual to see.. once again is is netted and has it's own life guards..

... Unfortunately at 11pm the market began to shut down, so we made our way home for the evening!

Wednesday's are my day off from classes! It was a nice treat to be able to sleep in again as the late nights begin to catch up with you! I ran a few errands in the early afternoon, and ate lunch virtually cost free in the Canteen here on campus. After lunch, (which was around 3 o clock), Will, Katrina, and myself headed down to Sham Shui Po district; ...
