... The Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center did not sound interesting, but we listened to our guide and she was right. Though it might sound dull, the place was fascinating. It contains the largest scale model of a city ever created. It is a model of the downtown area of Central Shanghai. I could not capture it all in one or two photos. The building houses the plans for Shanghai's next twenty years and ...

... read the map and work out which direction we needed to go. They asked India if she could take a photo for them with the scenery in the background. She took the camera and took their photo. That or he just stole the car! David sat there like ...

... worried everyone hasn't had enough to eat. I also am the supplier of gum, wet wipes, hand sanitizer and tissues. They have started calling me Mom and Matty S. even just goes mamamamamamom. It is amusing but I feel stressed trying to keep track of this group, I can't imagine having to handle real kids!

More on Shanghai tomorrow, I am tired and need to go to sleep so I'm ready for my internship tomorrow.

... very different. Whereas the west end is quiet, upscale and tree-lined, the east end looks like the cheap end of the Vegas strip. It is closed to traffic, but lined with 5+ story buildings covered in neon and offering every type of store and restaurant imaginable. Early in the morning, it is quieter (relatively speaking), but still teaming with people. Couples walk small dogs and children in uniform exit the subway, dispersing to schools in the area. Large groups ...
