    After navigating my way through customs I managed to finally reach the exit and step outside into the intense heat wave. Getting to the taxi bay, a driver approached me. With an impressive grasp of English, he asked for my destination and boasted that he was by far the best person to take me there. We agreed on a fixed price of AUD$20 and set off for my hostel.
