    ... my actual phone, because she kept pointing at it, saying the words for phone and calling, asking ok? and making a phone with her fingers and holding it to her ear. I thought she wanted to borrow my phone, but she didn't take it from me; maybe she wanted my number or was just asking if I have signal in here?! Wo bu zhi dao! Several bu hao yi si's later and her flight to dalian was called, and she shook my hand and left with a smile.

    ... to the main part of downtown, where Pearl Tower is. Very close to Pearl Tower is the Shanghai Aquarium, which was our destination. But, we got there over an hour before it opened, accidentally. So, we walked to a nearby Starbucks and hung out there for awhile. We then spent a few hours at the aquarium.
