... no meal allowance and the food has been found for us. Lunch was 11 courses and dinner 14. Fantastic tasting food – lots (and lots) of different types of Tofu cooked in a number of ways as well as the usual corn soup, rice, noodles, fantastic selections of greens and some bits and pieces we can’t quite work out. We woke up early in the morning in order to drive out to the ancient villages of Anyi county. By doing this, we missed the crowds and also, I caught my train home right on time.

... the service stopped for the night.

We had no plans to do anything here except catch a bus; the problem is that our bus to-day doesn't leave until 3:40pm, so we just wandered a bit. Nanchang is by no means a lovely city, but there are few cities in the world that are. It's certainly not worth the disdain it received from others when I told them I was coming here.
