This evening's concert was most definitely the musical highlight of the tour. The Opera House as you will have seen in yesterday's post was beautiful and worthy of its significant reputation. ... a concert this evening in one of the Opera House studio theatres. The band were in the audience and it was fantastic to see them perform from in front rather than from behind! Their programme was a fabulous mix of performance, audience interaction and demonstrations of Maori Culture. (See photos).

... is so different. I’ll start by saying American Chinese food is a far cry from real Chinese food. I’ll also go on record on how blessed I am that the food here in the south is mostly sea food and mild, whilst up north, describing the food as extremely spicy would be an understatement. The one occasion I did try some northern food, I thought I burned my kidneys to ash.
