    ... on the bottom floor, but three more floors that are totally empty. In fact most of the mall had several empty floors and only the bottom floor was sporadically filled. Some parts were just totally empty - whole empty rooms filled with dust and rubbish. Really weird.

    ... other 2 in August. The 2 Americans are both having their babies in Hong Kong and not going back to the States. Many of the younger staff prefer teaching abroad and have no desire to return home, at least for this stage of their lives. Certainly for the Americans, the money is much better than in the US and the health plan is a BIG bonus.     ... go at the knock-off mall. Anything we buy will have to be small because we’re each leaving here with only 1 suitcase and a back pack! Carolyn, one of the teachers who started with us, wants to make the trip with us so she’ll know how to do it on her own. It’s a little sad for her because of the 8 of us who started new this year, only 3 are coming back. Such is life at an international school.
