    ... crazy fast at what I can only assume was 100 MPH or greater, on the edge of a gorge! So to say the very least I saw my life flashing before my eyes and was counting the several ways that I could have died in the time I spent in that cab, just to make sure that I was prepared for anything and of course the seat belts were broken. We called a couple of our Chinese friends who spoke English to translate for us, turns out that there was still another HOUR left of ...

    So, i've realized that I haven't written anything about the actual reason that I am here in China for in the first place! So, school it is.

    I work at, get ready for it....Beautiful Grassland Montessori International School. I teach kids ages 0-3, so pre-school. However, the majority of my kids are around 2 1/2 and the youngest being 1 1/2. They are exactly what you would expect...kids. They can be super gross with sneezing ...

    We made all sorts of dishes for when a couple people came over that afternoon. We made salad, teriyaki potatoes, tomatoe and eggs, duck that was roasted and had a variety of spices on it, fish, cucumber salad and angel food cake for dessert :) eating out is cheap and convienent, but cooking at home feels comfy and I love it.

    I FINALLY got my phone to upload pictures to my computer! whoop whoop! small victories ...
