Today I laid in bed for a while and it was super nice. I have been exhausted from our busy days and I still have jet lag. Stephanie made amazing breakfast sandwiches with croissant bread that we got at the bakery yesterday. Yum! Then we picked up Honglin, Stephanie and Marlin's mandarin tutor and went tea tasting. We sampled ...

... and some weights. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but I haven't really worked out since last Wednesday. I will have to decide tomorrow if the working out was a stupid idea. We have a 3 hr flight tomorrow to Beijing, so if I tighten up and have leg cramps that is going to be miserable. Oh well!

We met up with Chanley, Stephanie's friend for lunch at metepsychosis. It is a great restaurant. We had ...

I think there are just lots of people everywhere in China, and everywhere you go there are the market areas and the "up market" areas. The Three Gorges Dam Museum was worth the visit although alot of the exhibits were just narrative on the dam project; many ...

... There was a huge "Airport Buffet" restaurant that caters to large groups and we once again had a lazy-susan meal with many dishes. Fried rice, eggdrop soup, noodle soup, duck, chicken with vegetables, beef with bok choy, celery with squid, asparagus with chicken, egg foo yung, watermelon, and pound cake. All of it was very good!

Next off to the hotel! We are staying at the Sheraton and it is a gorgeous hotel! The lobby has revolving doors that have ...
