... In the evening we went to watch the laser light show, where all of the skyscrapers on Hong Kong island light up different colours. Day 5 - Ocean park day! It is a theme park/zoo/aquarium, not a very cultural day but very fun. We got to see penguins, pandas, walrus, sharks, jelly fish and seals being anally probed! (Only the seals were anally probed!) The park is in two halves and you have to get a cable car from one side to the other, ...

... flower market too. I could only take photos of them though...we then headed off for the Ngong Ping 360 cable car on Lanteau Island. One of the green spaces in Hong Kong. After a wait in line, off we went...we got a discount so we took a car with a glass floor up. While touristy, it is fun to do and was a nice way to spend the day. We got a great overview and saw (I climbed up the stairs) the Giant Buddha. We went back down in the regular cable car. And got some great ...

We are now in Macau, the Vegas of the East. In fact, it looks like they took the entire Venetian complex and transplanted it here. Instead of throngs of Americans, there are throngs of Chinese. Actually, there is more to Macau than gambling as it was a Portuguese colony for centuries. We hope to see the old town tomorrow. We left you two days ago in Indonesia. We departed from Java early with an extra bag we needed in light ...

... from us, (check day 1 photo of how high up our room is) is in fact a police station. I'd have had it pegged at as hospital since it has 5 ambulance shaped vehicles and 9 coaches. No idea what kind of event would lead you to need 9 coach loads of coppers turning up in force but it reminds me of sometbing out of Grand theft auto when we go on a high speed killing spree It seems I have developed an addiction to fox's glacier fruits. May need some emergency dental work when I ...

... to the executive lounge for afternoon tea, which is also complimentary. What a spread! Every kind of tea you could imagine along with tons of excellent finger sandwiches and many choices of fancy pastries from the pastry chef. This part was so relaxing and much needed after the madness of the Kowloon streets.

After tea, we had a short break in our room and prepared for the night. We could see the Peak Tram ticket booth from our room and Mike saw ...
