... except that it was getting a little too close to my limit on spicy foods. I think I must have drunk most of the pot of tea to stop the burn in my mouth. I think my favorite was this beef jerky tossed with veggies. Salty, spicy and sooo yummy. Adam also ordered a shrimp dish, LOL it was tiny dehydrated shrimp on crunchy veggies. The shrimp were like crunchy bit size snacks. Pretty good as long as I ignored the head and black eyes attached to it.

Last day! It was raining when we woke up so just vegged around hotel until 10.30. The severity of the rain was judged by the number of umbrellas in the streets.

... all day- perfect!

It was about 10 pm by the time we arrived so Martin headed out for drinks for the fridge and some food. He came back with Singapore Noodles (my favourite) and fried pork with garlic. The portions were huge and it was so tasty. This was a good start!

The following day we headed out to explore. We checked the race meets in the city and luckily they had a race at Sha Tin Racecourse. We took the 109 bus from opposite the hotel to Hung Hom (Kowloon) ...
