The final chapter (April 19-21)

... and the JW Marriott in Shanghai. So it seemed appropriate. The lobby was beautiful but by far it was the most expensive and most disappointing of the three. It was a very basic tea unlike the other two. After tea I did the night tour. The lights all were beautiful. The tour ended at the Avenue of Stars (comparable to Hollywood Blvd) a perfect spot to watch the symphony of lights. The buildings in the harbour all light up and music plays. They do this every evening at 8pm ...

... the rest of us started fishing out Christmas presents.

We were all dressed up (in our own festive ways) and with the table laid (and tinsel everywhere!), Una, Jason, Annie, Pete and I sat down for some yummy breakfast. Luckily, Shenzhen is a business city, therefore the majority of people who live here are from ...

So what if the person says no - you'll never see them again and you'll probably not want to if they can be that rude. The least they could do is give you their business card, even if they ignore your email!

Oh...and the Light Show, that I was so looking forward to, was devastatingly disappointing.
