    ... the large fireworks quickly became engulfed in smoke that partially clouded their display. Coupled with the the beautiful light displays on the high rises of the city and the very cool light display of words, clouds, koi and other patterns on the tall tower in Kowloon [the one that has the Ozone Bar at the top of it], the show was spectacular.
    After the show, we walked back to SoHo for a light dinner before taking the train back to our hotel.

    ... to take us to the top. I should point at, in all the shops down the bottom, they were either local food shops, or very expensive shops (Carter, Herpes, etc etc). Unfortunately, at the top are markets full of Teresas favourite junk shops - she nearly had convulsions !
    We went to the very top, and at times, you could not see more that 10 metres in front of you, but then, the cloud would clear ...

    Bit of a cock up with the London blog. Liz's tablet is not allowing me access to my pre prepared dates. Still, arrived here to find us missing one suitcase. Seems it has travelled to Delhi !! But these factual sections were largely dealt with in small side-alleyways, with the main galleries being given over to the most fantastic reconstructions of buildings and even whole streets of the relevant time.
