    ... a boat for a day of relaxation, drinking and sunbathing. We left early in the morning (the boat picked us up at 10AM) and then set off for Lamma Island, where we found a desolate beach.     ... on the return train. We didn't have visas, so couldn't have crossed the border.

    The city of Shenzhen is just across the river. It has a population of over ten million people, and is a huge contrast to the lowland agricultural area around Lok Ma Chau. This contrast shows up really well on Google maps.

    ... mansions is rife with Criminals, mostly Indian, I got propositioned walking in and out every time for drugs, one stupid drug dealer asked if I wanted cocaine or majuwana whilst a police man stood behind him he promptly got taken away, I also witness a theif trying to reach into peoples hand bags, probably the most annoying was the watch touts that stand outside the Rolex shop selling fake watches or the 20 Indians that try offer you tailor services at the same time.

    ... a staff number of 850 + so is a major employer in the area as well. if feeling peckish there are seven restaurants and numerous coffee shops to chose from..
