... stumbled upon a flea market similar to that of the pearl market back in Beijing. Dong Fang, or more specifically, outside of Dong Fang, into the alleys, one will find shops selling whatever one impulses. With the Christmas music playing, Santa on site and the AC jacked up, it really felt quite festive, even though it was 28 degrees outside. ... not the same as home, but not bad. There was also a Chinese wedding reception at the hotel so it was buzzing with activity. The bride wore a western white long gown - don't know if that's customary or not.
