    Planning on coming home with a nice tan and maybe a slight accent hahaha - who knows?

    tomorrow have some last minute things to do - dogs to the groomers - money to sort out and some renovations to complete!

    ... ride, while the Taieri Gorge was interesting, it was rather small and not as spectacular as we were led to believe, and much of the landscape was rather barren countryside. But at least the trip was accompanied by a bagpipe player. Boy, are they loud.

    ... city is an exact replica of Scotland's Edinburgh. As a college town, there are a lot of great cheap places to eat (unfortunately for us, school is not in session and 80% of said spots were closed). But that didn't stop us from filling our one day in Dunedin with loads of fun.

    ... the 2.30 tour.
    Oh dear, didn't we know, Thursday is cruise ship day and no places on the tour until 5. Gutted deflated we walked out (though I did buy a glass as Steve would not let me slip one in my bag when we were in the last Speights Pub! ) the brewery tour would have to wait until if we ever come back but I'm sure it won't put us off sampling their wares in the next 4 weeks especially as Steve has just found out they do Speights special ginger beer lol

    ... and then went out to see more of my penguins. Because it was Friday there were more people and there were fewer penguins and I didn't manage to molest another one. We got up the next day and left the campsite, drove to Dunedin and it was awful, it was quite congested and there was a sot of unfriendly atmosphere about the place that I can't explain but we all felt it.
