747 Motel Wellington

... boarded the big green bus and headed to Waitomo, which is a really small town along the west coast of New Zealand and turned out to be one of our favorite stops! Waitomo has miles and miles of underground caves and we went "Black Water Rafting," one of our favorites activities to date. It was honestly one of the most fun things we've ever done. ... bar, Lagerfield, are two bars out of like four that are owned by the same company. Anyway, she called us right back and told us to meet her at Lagerfield to meet another manager. We ended up sitting down with the managers and doing some wine tasting with them which was an entirely strange way to have a first interview. Danny also had to show one of the managers how to make a Long Island, which turned out horribly...we blamed it on the manager who was looking ...

... Dawn to wish her happy birthday but only ended up getting her answer phone so were sat singing happy birthday in the middle of the hotel lobby. After this we set off to our campsite for the night which was about an hour away and when we arrived there was a group of about 10-15 ‘youths’ sat in cars and in a tent but thankfully they were pretty quiet all night and didn’t disrupt us from our good 8 hours sleep.

Day 51 Tuesday 25th August Johnsonville and Newlands

A day of looking around our old suburb and especially our street. The house we lived in now has a 2 story house on its front lawn. Very tight use of land in these suburbs.

... Saturday to see Billy Connolly. Bad news before we left though....Our house has been broken into in Benfleet and they have stolen our Tv and our Car!!! Managed to keep the Jewels this time as were hidden away! We really did have Black Thursday in Napier and the next day we got to Rotoura.
