... and cleaning their fish and plucking chickens in the same stretch of water ( side by side); and the local crops on the outskirts. Finally on my last day it was by bus to another village - Qinghua to see the Rainbow bridge (800 years old and original!!!) A bit same, same so think I am done with old villages. Very hot and humid. My friend, who is actually my Chinese-English language exchange partner, is in his 50's, but being quite fit didn't seem to mind clambering up this small cliff face to ...

... we
arrived on board, we discovered that more than half of the people on the cruise
had been delayed several hours in Shanghai due to weather! They eventually
arrived that evening, but had missed the museum completely. Dinner was tasty
and we ordered from 5 choices on the menu. I had a lemon sole with a lovely
sauce and Dale had some pork ribs. We dined with the Aussies from our group.
