... rush hour is just madness One of the things I love about Hong Kong is its amazingly efficient transportation system. During rush hour, however, you want to avoid it at all times. People don't really care how full the train is, they just keep pushing in. Even if the doors open again after closing first (this usually happens because someone got stuck between one of the doors somewhere), people will just keep coming. At the same time, people who are ...

... modern Italian restaraunt, NOM. The meals were hearty yet delicate, and Byron chose a Chianti red which complemented the meals perfectly. Thursday saw us nursing slightly sore heads, and collecting wallets, credit cards and phones which had gone missing in action the night before. ... for his bag. So I gave him a hug. I think I might have made him jump just a little as he hadn't yet seen me... We said hello, then I went back to my luggage belt which finally had bags going round - although mine wasn't there. I had to go to lost luggage who went and looked for me, and confirmed that no, my bag wasn't going round on the belt. Thankfully just after this, they were radioed by staff on the other side of customs saying that someone had picked it up by accident, ...

... It was a bit foggy but I'm going to say that I at least saw China even though we didn't visit. On our last day we used the super efficient check in system to drop our bags off at the main train station in the centre of town and then travelled into the airport at our leisure. A great example of how Hong Kong operates, maximum efficiency and speed. Definitely one of my favourite cities, made me miss London, a little bit.  More pictures to be ...
