        ... up walking down the 'city of star walk way, to see Hong Kong at its best all building lit up and flashing lights .. Incredible! Tomorrow I will spend the day at the beach and use my tram ticket to go up to Victoria peak and see Hong Kong hopefully in the day light and wait to the sun goes down to see it from up on the peak.... Just caught the tram home lovely locals made sure I got the right one but it's easy so much transport and ...

        ... back at first!! First stop, the craziness of Times Square in Causeway Bay, The Living Room museum to check out the Lion Dance Musical Instruments and Lo On Kee's crafted lions. Little wander round the streets and a freebie from the truly unique Kee wah bakery before I started to worry that my wandering would get me lost and retreated to meet a friend for diiner at Din Tai Fung.         ... treks through the beautiful rice terraces or from the very busy and apparent rice trade. Our hotel was pretty much at the top of the mountain and had incredible views however Lena, our Norwegian friend also had cockroaches in her bed which certainly made me have less sleep than I originally wanted at that particular hotel. Not what you want after a full 24 hours travelling! A shower and a bowl of yet more noodles followed by a game of backpacker and we all had an early night ...

        ... Ramen restaurant (basically spicy noodles and an egg), where you sit in your own booth, right your order on a slip of paper, and pass it through a slit in the wall in front on you. You then get passed your meal back through the slit by a pair of disembodied hands- I guess the Japanese are shy!

        We then walked all over Hong Kong Island at night, and eventually found a live music bar. By around 11ish, my jet-lag caught up ...
