Not planning on paying to smell like we were traveling in a cheap hotel for 2 weeks, I advised the clerk of the problem and they proceeded to upgrade us to a vehicle, that I swear, could probably drive itself. There were lots of small trees and waterways along the drive. We took a pit stop for some food and rest rooms before I took over for my first drive in USA and on the wrong side of the road.We took another stop a few hours later and swapped back to Steve driving who took us all the way to Canada!

... anyone who does not know, Clifton Hill is a strip of stores, wax museums, and various oddities that apparently attract tourists. The entire area had the feel of a neighborhood where a dollar store had exploded all over a carnival. It was just plain tacky.

I guess if you think of the area in terms of a carnival instead of a major tourist attraction, then perhaps it would not be so bad. But since I was thinking of it as one ...
