    ... 8217;s that stuck out were the kids given cleavers to cut their own food. That is, kids ages 6 and up, with cleavers that I myself don’t feel safe using. As evidenced, one of my grade 6 students used the cleaver to open a glass jar of spices. Needless to say, rather than getting the top off, the kid chopped through the jar and the glass sputtered everywhere. Another highlight worth mentioning was the pot of noodles/ soup tipping over.     ... the mice?? Every morning this week there have been 1 or 2 dead mice in traps by the sink upstairs where we are. I’m usually the first to arrive in the morning and try to get rid of them before the kids start arriving. Tim has become the disposal guy because I’ve just seen too many of them lately.     ... terminal for boats to Hong Kong as well as cruise ships so there is a strong western presence. The QSI school where we had our sessions has over 1200 students on it's 4 campuses. There were 2 imported food stores beside the school so it was funny to see our staff pouring over the products to see what was different from our stores. The big ticket item was boxes of cereal at a reasonable price. I also bought a can of pumpkin and some peach jam - great finds!
