    Our family took us to the Sherman Museum. The place told us a lot about the history of Sherman and the Red River Area. Formerly known as the Red River Historical Museum, it had many cultural, historical, and educational exhibits to view.

    ... camp and headed north to Oklahoma. However, Oklahoma didn't want us - no camp sites were immediately available. So we went back across the state line into Texas. We stumbled upon a beautiful campsite on the Red River. The view across the river lake was spectacular, and there was absolutely no traffic noise within miles.
