The final day
... just out of downtown Vancouver and is a beautiful rainforest. They have tree top walks and a rather swinging suspension bridge over a gorge. It was really lovely. Vancouver is a beautiful city,the people are so friendly,it's clean and the public transport system is really good..and cheap.The weather,as I mentioned, has been less than desirable...but apparently November is like that! Gosh, it seems like so long ...
Vancouver and Stanley Park
... find your way around thanks to the grid system of the streets. Gastown is famous for its steam clock and the old nice looking houses and shops. If you walk to the end of Downtown you end up in Stanley Park which is huge so better to hire a bike to go around.

Während der Outback-Tour in Australien im Mai haben wir ein schweizer Pärchen kennengelernt, das dann auf einmal unerwartet vor unserer Tür im Hostel in Canada stand und einchecken wollte. Divide and Conquer
... after our lunch of fresh bagels, the Mums took the kids out to the movies to see 'Brave' while the Dads stayed back, made spaghetti sauce and tidied up the house as the babysitter was coming just before 7 so that the 4 parents could go out for a lovely dinner.
