... They also have 'Hay Rides' which consist of sitting in a big wooden trailer behind a small tractor and being pulled around the park... And, tonight we discovered that there are fireflies all over the place. This is a big thing for us..we don't have fireflies out west in Alberta. It's too hot and dry. They seem to love hot weather and damp conditions. It's 35c and we are beside several ponds, rivers and swamps. It's so lush and green ...

We arrived in Ohio woohoo!!!! The big sale starts in two days we can't wait. We have seen signs already and tables being set up. On the way to Oxford to our hotel we found another covered bridge the first one for Ohio. The Pugh Mill Bridge now called the Black Bridge. It stands in its original location but no through traffic allowed. This is the longest bridge so far at 220 feet long and 25 ft high. It was built in 1868-69 for access to a saw ...

We had some awesome barbecue today at Baumbach's in New Paris, Ohio (pop. 1629). My goodness it was in the middle of NOWHERE near our campground but so damned good! What a find--we're stuffed 'til Tuesday, at ...

... Arrived at hotel and had shower and warmed up. Put the A/C unit to heat. First time on this trip. Ordered in a pizza for lunch and then I tested out the bed quality with a nap. Well I use the term losely as not sure when a nap becomes a sleep but I just couldn't get up. Not even for a milkshake.

Went to dinner at Golden Coral and had a good feed. Other American observation-their lemonade is usually flat.

I miss having metal cutlery at breakfast too...

... and sat down in the restaurant at 3. The Tamales were delicious as well as the pork taco that I got. Peg liked the taste of the taco she snitched so much, she ordered her own.

We were going to take one of the scenic highways shown on our atlas on our way back, but it was raining so hard you could not see the nose of the truck. So we just took IN 70 back to Richmond.

I have to confess that I messed up where we are camping – we were ...
