Happy Mother's Day! We left our Emporia, VA Walmart camping spot about 8 AM. Arrived in Concord about 12:30, found our campsite and spent the remainder of the day setting up camp. Stones were deep on the site, difficult for Bobby to maneuver. Kitty and Bobby used rakes to clear a path from the road to the coach so he could more easily move around. ... stopped for hours or just crawling along at 2-5MPH for a couple
hours. Also, this same experience can be had on I-95 in VA between DC
and Fredricksburg, VA. Today, we lucked out and ran the HOV lane from
outside DC for the full length of about 20 miles. The regular lanes
South were blocked and inching along for the entire 20 miles. Once we
exited the HOV lanes, and merged with S I-95 it was another 25 miles of
5-20MPH. The North bound lanes appeared ...

flies, chiggers, and I think ticks. Gallinipper mosquitos joins the list today. Specifically Psorophora cilata. If you have never run into these things consider yourself lucky. ... lock on due to the configuration of my front rack so naturally one bounced off the first time I hit a decent bump, Towards the end of the ride the screws on my right cleat had vibrated out so far that I could not unclip my right shoe. Glad this is happening now and not on Saturday morning. It's great when God gives you time to correct mistakes.
