Happy Mother's Day! We left our Emporia, VA Walmart camping spot about 8 AM. Arrived in Concord about 12:30, found our campsite and spent the remainder of the day setting up camp. Stones were deep on the site, difficult for Bobby to maneuver. Kitty and Bobby used rakes to clear a path from the road to the coach so he could more easily move around. ... were innumerable areas where the barrel barricades were stretched for miles and miles along the roadways...........with NO one around performing road work. Those areas where lanes were closed and work was being done, short distances and very few in number.

With this rant, I close this blog, and again hope some of you received a bit of a chuckle, a pleasant read, or maybe even an enjoyable moment from the pics.

Only ten days till Launch. Time to start collecting all the loose ends and making final preparations. Jess arrives in a few days and things will move into high gear. I am really looking forward to meeting her.
