... is Race Weeks and you have to show support for your favorite drivers. I think Kitty found the biggest Tony Stewart flag to hang in the windshield of their coach. We took a brief ride around to get familiar with the lay of the land. Kitty served dinner again tonight - crab cakes, deviled eggs, tomatoes, cheesy broccoli, and pretzel salad. It was great! I think we will let her cater all our camping meals. ...

... stopped for hours or just crawling along at 2-5MPH for a couple
hours. Also, this same experience can be had on I-95 in VA between DC
and Fredricksburg, VA. Today, we lucked out and ran the HOV lane from
outside DC for the full length of about 20 miles. The regular lanes
South were blocked and inching along for the entire 20 miles. Once we
exited the HOV lanes, and merged with S I-95 it was another 25 miles of
5-20MPH. The North bound lanes appeared ...

As we came from Tennessee into Virginia there was a feeling of home. Just getting back into the state where I was born and have lived my entire life (with the exception of military time), Rhonda and I both commented that it was nice to be back home in Virginia. It is truly a beautiful state, to say the least. With the Allegheny and Blue Ridge mountains of it's own, Virginia can stand with all those other states that have the beauty of their mountain ...

Well this great adventure is almost over.....just a few miles and the CBBT between me and home. It has been a wonderful summer and great adventure. Some of the things that stand out the most are:
