... were innumerable areas where the barrel barricades were stretched for miles and miles along the roadways...........with NO one around performing road work. Those areas where lanes were closed and work was being done, short distances and very few in number.

With this rant, I close this blog, and again hope some of you received a bit of a chuckle, a pleasant read, or maybe even an enjoyable moment from the pics.

... thoroughly enjoyed living close enough to spend really wonderful quality time with Gary and his kids this past three years. It was difficult to say goodbye today, knowing future visits will be months, sometimes years apart. Such is military life.

Time is slipping past us like a thief in the dark as we come to our last days here in Suffolk. This afternoon we hand over the last of our stuff that doesn't fit in the camper and we will officially have everything we own in the RV! It has been liberating getting rid of 95% of our personal possessions and embarking on our scaled down, nomadic life.
