... from a spectators point of view, has been excellent and augurs well for a very successful World Championships in Feb 2015.
There was a local Aussie interest today as Luc Henri Chevalier (Chevy) was in the field. Chevy is a local boy from our way whose family moved to Colorado when he was a teenager so that he could attend the Vail Ski Academy and therefore pursue his dream of being a regular on the World Cup circuit. Back to do it all again! Men's Super G on the difficult Birds of Prey Course at Beaver Creek.
Super G is like downhill but with a few more gates that the skier has to pass through. While dinner was on the grill we played a very competitive game of ladder golf. We enjoyed the sunset and watched a train roll through the valley. We are off to bed early tonight so we can get up early tomorrow and hike to Hanging Lake.
