We have had a marvellous time in Hong Kong. We appreciate very much that Norm and Sue were willing to have us stay so soon after they had moved in and we really enjoyed helping them get a few thing organised in their apartment. We also were grateful for their ‘guiding’ skills, especially Sue’s. Hong Kong is a spectacular city and we can’t wait to go back.
Yesterday we set off in the morning on the bus to find the beginning of the tram line. Neither of us had been on the trams before so we thought that would be something new. Even though Joc gave us very detailed instructions we still managed to miss our stop but to our credit we got ourselves back on track and got a top deck seat right at the front.

It was dark and I wanted to head to Fantasy Land. We used a Fast pass on Poohs hunny Pot adventure which was a slow ride for kids. The funny thing was right at the end the ride broke. So we had to sit there and wait to be let out. They let all the little kids out first which was fair enough and we did get a free fast pass for any ride we wanted. I thought this was hilarious.

... famous old dim sum restaurant and tea house where our waiter has a very authoritarian attitude. He scowls and looks with disdain when we are unsure of what to order. I sit up straight every time he comes over to top up our tea! The Jasmine tea smells like pot pourri but doesn't actually taste too bad, not that I'd ever dare to complain to this guy if it did! I leave a small tip to avoid any confrontation and don't hang around to see ...
