    We found a road leading to the Original Trail of Tears which was a route taken by the Cherokee Indians westward when they were displaced from their lands in the east providing the white settlers with very fertile farming land.

    ... central states are more interested in letting you know you have crossed into them than on the eastern seaboard. We travelled on the 64 and the time zone crosses this highway several times so we did not bother to change our clocks until we knew we were definitely in the Central Time Zone.

    Arrived early and got our pick of sites. We got this one right on the lake. At dusk, the family of skunks would come out to enjoy the fallen crab apples on the tree in our site. The sunsets were gorgeous! We met Puff the Purple Dragon on the beach! Loved the water tower.
