    Prologue

... four months with friends, jobs, and fun at my school's television station are things I know I will be thinking about often. I hope this blog also helps me be able to keep friends and family updated on the fun things going on in my life, and then actually get to tell everyone in person when I return home in January.

Smooth sailing until we got just north of Albany, NY. Rude drivers, tailgating; Larry was almost rear-ended. And my "eagle" ...

... closed so stopped at the Chocolate Barn. Best fudge we've ever had. It was made with brown sugar and walnuts and had a flavor similar to tablet (a Scottish fudge my grandmother used to make). Went to Bennington battle monument where there was a revolutionary war with the Americans and the British. Stopped for some groceries then back to camp for a nice dinner and yes...................too much wine!
