Left Indiana this morning and traveled most of day to reach our destination in Stoughton, WI. Passed zillions of corn fields as far as we could see. Arrived about 4pm at Lake Kegonsa State Park. Lovely woody sites which would be perfect if we could keep the Mosquitos from levitating us off the ground. Enjoyed walking through the park tonight-all body parts sprayed or covered. Today was a day full of traveling. We had an 11 hour plane ride from shanghai to Vancouver to start off with--my luck scored me a seat by myself in the very middle of the plane. The turbulence was much worse this time around an the food was no better. But alas, I survived an continued onto the next flight. The next flight I scored a seat on the isle toward the front of the plane. The flight was a little over four hours in length and ...

We also went next door to meet Melvilles - Jack was home and was really surprised to see Karla. It was good to talk to him and share family stories. Karla dragged all of us to her church, high school and Carroll College (Karri's alma mater).
All in all a good visit to Karla's home town!
