We have moved from the cold of the mountains to a heatwave in Kansas and boy has it been a shock! To make life a bit harder, we've had strong winds blowing every day. ... low hanging supercells. They were mainly going outflow dominant and didn't hang around too long, but did have some rotation and therefore some Tornado potential. Most of our storms went Tornado warned, but didn't persist long enough to put something down. Hearing the tornado sirens is always a tingly experience.
I'm enjoying seeing a bit more of the country, lovely little towns with picturesque plots.
