Day 49. Vermont The first stop today was Fort Adams - not that was saw a great deal of the fort. It was bucketing down, windy and so cold, the walk to the visitors centre was enough to send us back to the warmth of our car. A drive around the foreshore and the mansions, or should I say mini castles - about 50 of them - Newport is money, money, money. ... of beauty for the past 87 summers. Our week here is going by very quickly, and we'll be back oh the road soon heading to our next stop. We had some beautiful weather, sunny and warm, cool at night. However, we had a couple of ear piercing thunderstorms over the weekend. I'm sooooo glad we aren't tent camping! We enjoyed that when our kids we little and we were a whole lot younger! I'll stick to my Bounder and take life as it comes.

... is very cheap as he is determined not to have the air conditioner on in the car as he said it cost 10% more in fuel. Oh my god I think I am going to strangle him, hahaha.

Made it to Charlemont without any deaths so I guess we will continue onto Copperstown. I thought the humidity would get better going into the mountains but oh no it is just making us drenched.
