... in Brooklyn. We drove south this morning, following the Connecticut River Byway most of the way. The weather was fittingly gloomy all day. However, tonight is game 7 of the World Series, every single day of this trip has been amazing and it will be good to sleep in my own bed.

... storm pushed this area past 'peak' but I'm hoping as we move across southern New England towards Cape Cod we'll catch up to the colors again.

We stopped to stretch our legs at Kent Falls State Park http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kent_Falls _State_Park . As we climbed up the path I noticed a couple in tux and wedding gown, posing with the Falls in the background. But...no photographer? Camera, check. Tripod, check. ...

... a lot to pull us up to other rocks. It was a great workout! At about halfway up we still had a decent view as we were under the clouds so we stopped, caught our breaths and had some granola bars. As we got higher it got wetter and a little more difficult to get up the rocks. It was slow going but still really fun and felt like an adventure. We woke up to a beautifully sunny day. Michelle showed me great stretching exercises using the foam roller and then we decided to go for a bike ride. Michelle and Tony had bikes for us and it was great to see David biking on his recumbent bike.
