... artwork and accessible too, as we went to the top later in the day. Its the largest monument in the northern hemisphere. We decided after our visit a big monument would be a good idea for tourism in Sheffield. We thought a massive knife and fork would be appropriate.
After walking around the park we got on a real life Mississippi steamer. I think it was a hybrid. We made our way north and saw many sights along the river. It was really good we learnt a lot in ...

We arrived in St. Louis late on Saturday and on Sunday the sun was shining and it was a nice hot day so we went to forest park (the largest urban park in the country) and sat in the sun at the top of the art museum for a bit. For lunch we went to the boathouse and stayed for some beers out in the sun - it would have been rude not to on a day like that. We then fell asleep in ...

Now throughout the day we didn't see one Mexican, however we did see chilled Jose Cuervo, Margaritas on tap and cans of Mexican lager that worked out to be 750ml and were too cold to hold unless you had a cosy.... ... for a bit and got some more good pictures. We got hungry and Karen was in the mood for some jazz music, but in typical O'Leary fashion we ended up eating at an Irish Pub where we had the pleasure of being a very nice waiter's first customers of his new job. With a storm approaching we decided not to camp for tonight and hope to get an early start tomorrow for our long drive to Oklahoma ...

Holiday off to a rocky start

This will be short. Staying with family for the holiday festivities. What we would be doing included ice skating, going to the christmas lights display at the Zoo, shopping, and all kinds of visiting. What we are doing is nothing. Largely because we have all gotten some form of sick. So actually, the nothing is a good thing, because we're too tired and cranky to really enjoy anything else. No photos yet either; too weak to lift the camera.
