Leaving Joe Wheeler
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Harry and I launched "Newhouse" a couple of days ago from Joe Wheeler State Park and Marina on her maiden voyage. We left with two other cruisers, Jim and Barbie on their 28' Hunter and Jack on his 43' Albin.
We are making our way back to the entrance to the Tenn-Tom Canal which will take us to the Gulf of Mexico in Mobile Alabama.
The weather is marvelous and no rain the the near future. ...
Day 26; Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama

From Tennessee, we just skimmed the corner of Georgia, and then we curved back up to Tennessee, and then down to Alabama. Sweet Home Alabama - even the license plates have that written on them. It is now September 2012. Harry has been working hard and I have been, well, working hard and running around the country. Back to Texas a couple of times, to Minnesota, to Baltimore and Atlanta.
