It did rain again last night but it cleared up before we awoke. We went to breakfast and then to a grocery store for a few things we needed. The Walmart we parked at was a 24 hour store but it was dead! There was, however, a large grocery store about a block away was called Meijer that was packed! We decided to check it out. It was laid out just like a Walmart, had the same stuff as Walmart, prices seemed ...

... the same Adventure Cycling maps I use. He'll be going south in the morning, and I'm going east. So we won't get to ride together. It was a lot of fun swapping stories. He's pretty gutsy with his routes. Most of the time when there's a road closure and you're on a bike, it doesn't really matter. You can just walk your bike off the road. We stopped off around 20 miles in for some really good food at a place called Boomerang before setting off again to do the last 40 miles in one. ...

... we found the Westfield Outdoor Market. Same kind of theme, but more farmers and Amish items. I got some postcards that were made from photos taken by a local photographer.
Then we finally made it to the lake and saw the adorable paddle boat but we had missed the tour.
Oh well, we still had a good time!

... for Suzi. We love you. We are so sorry for your loss.
We decided to stay close to 'home' today. We drove to Point Gratiot and the Dunkirk Lighthouse which are only about 2 minutes down the road. They even had a spot reserved for my mom! We strolled the grounds and watched a family setting up for a wedding tomorrow. It's a beautiful day out, I hope tomorrow is the same. We then drove into downtown ...
