Got off Monday after 12...heading for Columbus, OH 1003 miles away....and had to be there by Wednesday.
Drove just under 300 miles to Perry, GA. Found a stopover at Fair Harbor RV Park just off I75. Neat park all treed, cute little lake in the middle of it, great electric and cable. Just what we needed after getting in around 6 that evening.

... an extra suitcase when I see her dad in a few weeks on another trip. Already mailed 2 large boxes, and need to mail 2 more. So, like usual, I won't be sleeping tonight. We leave for the airport at 6 am. Then I get to run last minute errands, finish my packing, help pack hubby who hasn't started yet (work will do that to ya). And just two more days of Pimslurs Swedish.
This is our one year anniversary where we are being sealed in the LDS Temple ...
... morning today. Headed for the laundromat and did up a couple of loads, then went adventuring. Went to the mounds at Ocmulgee National Monument and had a great visit. Good museum and video, amazing gathering mound with chief's circle, and visits to outside of funeral and other mounds. A bit of a walk for me through the river / backwater area with herons and egrets. Then it was on to the Fish and Pig for a great supper. Back to the camp early for some quiet time. A great ...
... First Hotel and we move onto the next building, which is a home for one of the founding families of Perry.
We try the new number again, only to get the same message "there is no site #2" blah, blah, blah. Because I apparently love to torture both George and myself, I go through this same futile exercise 6 or 7 times.

... in. The entertainment tonight was THE TEXAS TENORS. Those three guys from Houston are three very talented young men and have fantastic voices. Anyway they put on a great show and at one time Marcus, the youngest (the blond) came out into the audience and not just the first two or three rows. He came back to the area where we were sitting (about 20 rows back) while he was singing and I got to shake his hand. Alma got to give him a kiss on the cheek (what a bummer). Oh well, ...
