Spring break trip is booked!! It's been far too long since I've been to Topsail. I love it's laidback atmosphere and living on "Topsail Time" as they call it. The bad thing about booking something 3 months out? Waiting on those 3 months to pass!

Little did we know that the traffic would be so backed up and stop and go at every light so we turned around and went to look for the Historic District. We could never see the sign that we had passed but we found a 4 lane road that ran parallel to ...

The Blogs That Never Were

A travel blog entry by d.thorpe on May 15, 2014

(Remember 2 months ago at the start of the trip when this site crashed and I had to post 2 entries on Facebook? These are said entries, a couple of months late, but better than never, and at least now it round out the blogs nicely and fills in that gap)
So, Tuesday was the day we set out on the road and were left to our own devices, despite j's expert navigation, I managed to miss 2 important exits which added a bit of time. We got in to ...
