Got a little bit of a late start this morning but had a good time at Fort Ancient looking at the ruins of an ancient community. Lots of earthworks visible all around the region, two calendar mounds that marked the summer and winter solstices. Very good museum that went way past how the Paleo-Indians would have lived, although it gave lots of information about that as well. Moved into the wars with France and the British colonists as well, and spoke of some small communities ...

Once on I-70 we crossed the Ohio River moving into our fourth state of the day. With the early start we got through Columbus with a minimum of traffic as we were ahead of rush hour.
