This was the most impressive site we have seen so far. Each point on the serpent aligned with a solstice sunrise/sunset, moonrise/moonset or equinox point. Very impressive - the gift shop was also very good, with local native crafts (our first big shopping "spree".

... the attention to detail faded as time went by - perhaps with the shift from hunting/gathering to a more settled agricultural lifestyle...
Afternoon brought the rains that the weatherman are promising on and off for the next couple days as well - we will have to dodge rain drops!!
