    ... disoriented as we walked to the Paul Laurence Dunbar house (a poet and high school friend of the Wrights), stumbled into a massive car show at the Carillon Historical Park, and drove all the way across town to see the Huffman Prairie Flying Field. Along the way we caught glimpses of the University of Dayton, Wright State University, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. All of it was mildly interesting, and yet nothing stands out.

    ... IL was a high point for us in Illinois!

    One of the highlights of the week was a two night stop at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton OH. Bobbi had a great time SHOPPING at the Base Exchange and Commissary, which was one of the largest facilities we have seen. We spent a very short 3 hours touring the National Museum of the Air Force (spectacular!) which we had never even heard of before we arrived here! ...

    ... was all we could do. Needless to say, there were more things about the Wright Brothers throughout this museum too. Also, the huge aircraft were parked out on the airfield, far from the building, so we opted to look from afar... Then we went to the Huffman Prairie Flying Field and Interpretive Centre.     ... construction zones listening to the CB and all the nonsense the truckers talk about...there was a debate about whether it's legal to drive down the road naked. The consensus was, if you are in your own truck, it should be. When a lane is closing, the truckers will pull out to block those guys that try to scoot past everyone and pull in at the last minute so they are closer to the front of the line of traffic...We've seen this before, but ...
