Spent the day on the beautiful clearwater beach. The sand feels like talcum powder and is completely white, their are loads of birds. Giant pelicans and little ones that I think are going to peck my head and think I'm a fish. Wonderfully chilled out day, finished off with a walk along the beach and dinner at Frenchys again. Very very sunburnt!!!!

Decided to walk the causeway to Clearwater beach for our exercise of the day. We tend to walk the beach out there a few times a week so thought it might be fun...Tour boats and recreational boats are just heading out ...At noon when we head back to Dunedin the entire mile and a half of the causeway is backed up with people driving over to the beach...and trying to find parking...Sunday ...

Oddly enough you don't see much transit activity anywhere down here...seems to be very much a car culture with everyone driving and very little carpooling it seems..
There are many restaurants around the few blocks and we chose to eat dinner at Thai Thani....Pad Thai ,spring rolls and an peppered steak stir fry filled the void! ...

... we spent about an hour on the beach. It was packed. We assume with kids on spring break. So now we have dipped our toes in the Atlantic on the east coast of Florida and the Gulf of Mexico on the west side.

Our drive back to Orlando was supposed to take 1 hour 45 min again but the traffic was againg solid all the way past Tampa city and it took us 2 & 3/4 hours.

Cooked dinner at our hotel tonight. Roast chicken and veggies. Nice.

... a lunch and the bikes and headed for Clearwater Beach. We stopped at a bike shop on the way and tried out a bike... A good possibility. Then we drove to the beach. The first challenge was to find a parking spot. Once that was done we walked to the beach. We spent a short time there... Very hot and neither of us can sit in the sun for long (we forgot the umbrella). Then we got the bikes and road for a bit. LOTS of people!! Then we stopped at Crabby's bar and grill for a ...
