        ... in, lbit of rest, then walked back in time to board the bus (it was a one hour stop for sightseeing). Area is a bit grotty, but not terrible.

        Bus then went to mid-town area and we had lunch in a big farmers market. Josefina and I walked fast after lunch to try and see the La Brea tar pits, but by the time we reached it, it was time to head back, so we saw no tar, no mammoths, nada.

        ... cramped part of the plane. We were able to reserve bulkhead seating, but they didn't give it to us. We lived. I was able to sleep about 5 hours on this flight which is more than usual. There were some good television documentaries from Australian TV to watch. A good TV serious about the Agony of Living. I want to see more of these episodes on YouTube when I get home.

        We fly through the night....
