I grew up in the suburbs of Ohio in typical Midwest America, then looking for a change of pace I went to the University of Florida. While there I took the opportunity to study abroad in Melbourne, Australia and it pretty much changed my life. It was then that I realized traveling and seeing new places was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I took a short trip to New Zealand and Fiji prior to my study abroad and could not get enough of the adventure and excitement of meeting other travelers. When I finished university, the adventure bug was biting again and I set out on a US road trip starting in Maine and ending in Lake Tahoe, California. I went with four great friends and had the time of my life in our RV named Shirley. I have spent the last two years living an amazing life in Lake Tahoe where I ski in the winters and hike, bike, and hang at the beach in the summers. I may be crazy leaving that life, but I am itching to see the world and have set out on a trip I have dreamed of. I will be starting my trip in Israel then moving to Jordan, Egypt, and Kenya. I am open to any changes in my plans and look forward to meeting other travelers and having an amazing adventure filled journey!
