Day 25: Vientiane We took a bus from Vang Vieng to Vientiane (the Capital of Laos) in the morning. It took about 4 hours. When we arrived we had a walk around the place to see what there was. Not much to say about Vientiane. Vientiane's the capital of Laos. It was actually pronounced Wieng Chan, which means Sandalwood City, but the French mucked around with the spelling.
