... by the influx of or shall I say invasion of everyone on weekends.
Foreigners living in Thailand and the masses from Bangkok make day trips or a short weekend making use of the many cheap accommodations available.
The result a traffic jam that can easily compete with Bangkok, overflown restaurants one can not get a seat, no parking anywhere and herds of people.
This is fuelled by the non stop building boom that is ongoing.
One wonders who is buying all these ugly ...

... also bought out free drinks for us, so we were very happy. Although we loved Fulay Guesthouse, it was on the expensive side, so we found another guesthouse which was pretty much next door for 500B (approx £9) and checked in the next day. The next day, we had a walk to the beach and bartered for some beach towels along the way. We got two towels for 400B (approx £7). After our adventures last night we are more than ready to see the sea, and have some down time on the sand. We had a brief look yesterday and liked what we saw so there are high hopes for today, so much so that all three minions want to come.

Today Ba Mam and Loon Wut came to Hua Hin to see me. It is King Rama V day so they had the day off. After my class they picked me up and we went to the neighboring village of Pran Buri. They took me to a restaurant right next to the ocean where we had a lot of really good food. They ordered whole crabs and prawns and tom yum and vegetables and rice and more prawns. ... week. Warren had not done his homework again. That meant we have to leave Thailand a few days early and our stay in Krabi was off. No big shakes though, we would head down to Penang in Malaysia for new year. The down side was they charged us 80 to extend our stay by one week, the robbers dogs!!!!
Our week came to an end and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the up side was we were coming back after 4 days in Bangkok ...
