        ... and they were in cages; irony. We made it to the Arrastre camp at 256 but weren't thrilled with the setting. Call me old fashioned but I always prefer to camp near live water given the opportunity so we pushed another 2 miles to the 258.5 Arrastre creek crossing where we were just able to squeeze our tent into a little cleared space right along the creek.         ... pulled over at one of the little turn outs & journeyed across the dry creek bed. It was great fun, we picked up trash, took pictures of trash & generally stomped our way around for a while.

        ... a lot of the same things as yesterday whereas i was hoping to learn how to stop properly by tuning sharply up slope rather than by wedge. The instructor only took us up on lift 6 once to do 'Easy Street' (a low intermediate run) after which he said it was too busy and he wanted us to stick to chair 7 - frustrating! I didn't feel like i learned a lot in the class however it did give me a bit of confidence back.
