... tomorrow as we will be in Tucson to visit friends for 4 days.
I probably won't be blogging much while in Tucson...maybe the last night we are there. I don't know where we will be staying on the 24th or if I will have wifi there...it is the only hotel not pre-reserved. I am pretty sure we'll have no connections in Waynoka, OK.

... in the beginning of my message I only have two weeks of class left for the semester and I cannot believe it!! By the time winter break starts my graduate school applications done, finals completed, finals baskets sent off and all that other stuff. Please keep me in your thoughts/prayers as it will be a busy time but full of wonderful holiday things. Happy Holidays!!!! Also Happy Advent for those who celebrate it!!

The museum contains over 60 planes on the flight line along with several displays explaining the history of the base. By far the most interesting part of our visit was talking with the docents. They are mostly retired military folks who served here and the stories they have to share are worth the price of admission!
... ended up being the perfect distance/length for us (Dan wouldn't have been keen going for much longer!).
I really enjoyed it and rated it up there with the snow tubing and zip lining. Well worth the $35 (Adult) and $25 (Children).
We left the Discovery Center about 11.30 a.m and went to the lake to see if it had iced up again. Strangely, despite the snow last night the lake had no ice on it.
