    We headed up California 101 toward the Redwoods when we left San Francisco. The drive was beautiful, although still pretty dry. All of the parks we've been to so far have had an entrance where we pick up a map, ask a few questions, and head out. We found out it's a little different for the Redwoods.     ... our way to the beach and settled on the sand with a bottle of New Belgium’s La Folie and sandwiches. Some massive seagulls made a semi-circle around us, immediately realizing we had the goods. We enjoyed watching the waves and the harbor seals for a while, and then wandered up and down the beach, fully aware of how lucky we were/are.     ... they played one of the 4 songs in my repertoire and welcomed my rushing the stage to favour the crowd with Satisfaction. Dancers weaved home in the small hours in inverse age order, we sextegenarians lasting till around midnight.
    A very quiet brunch followed Sunday, and the party gradually dissolved during the day. We loaded up the excess libations and headed back to San Francisco tired but very happy . A truly great event Leimon, good on ya.
