hi folks we're here at patrick and kate flan****n's beautiful home, set in the middle of a vineyard, with a pool, lovely fruit trees, flowers and cabans - then in the distance, the mountains. very picturesque indeed. ... but my only complaint was the staff didn't wipe off the crumbs from the table before dessert. It made the table look well, "crummy". The server also "forgot" our coffee, but instead said it was being made... yet our dessert was melting while we waited. That error was really poor show.
Overall a great dinner, but the last part of bad service gave them a B+

water was gone and we could go over to the 'island'. Windy! And cold it

I have to say, Oregon coast is more dramatic and worth stopping at every
vista. But not at the north Californian. This is home of the Redwoods
and they are the most spectacular natural wonders that cannot be ...
... it all with linguini and topped it with Parmesan cheese. We cracked a wonderful bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon to complete the meal. Dessert was a cranberry/apple pie. Yummy. Now I am ready for bed and the frogs repeat their evening lullaby.

The duck was deliciously moist and the farro, potatoes/sweet potatoes and salad were so good too. We all said there was nowhere we'd rather be.
