Ronny & Linda pulled out this morning sometime. They were planning to leave between 7:30 and 8. I don't know I didn't get up until 9. Bob was up, but didn't hear them leave. They were making it a long day today by driving all the way to Junction. They thought they could make it by 6 CDT.

It was cloudy and foggy this morning, so wasn't sure about driving up to Cloudcroft, but Bob said it would be OK, so off we went. The GPS said ...

... amp; Linda are leaving early tomorrow morning so we went out to dinner tonight. We went to a very nice Italian restaurant. When I say very nice, I mean VERY nice ($$$), The food was very good and I even found something without cheese. Bob said you can tell the difference in Italian restaurants and upscale Italian restaurants-look at the menu to see if they have Spaghetti and meatballs-this one did not! It ...

I don't care what Camping World says, somehow water comes in under the living slide! It rained while we were out and when we returned, I stepped in a puddle. Not sure if it's running down the side, hitting the rail and coming in or what, but we'll do it again ...

... of the hummingbirds. At one time I counted 8 flying around. I have never seen so many in one place at a time. They are amazing little creatures, but very territorial. If there is one feeding and another one comes along and wants a drink, the first one is run off. They were constantly fighting over which one would be able to drink from which feeder. Tomorrow we will be going back over to Alamogordo to take in the Pistachio Farm tour. I may even decide to buy some more Pistachio ...

... It belongs to the Mescalero Apache Indians. Guess after what the white man did to them, they are getting their revenge! We had thought about playing a round of golf there, but it cost $95, yes you read that right NINETY-FIVE DOLLARS!! They are having a special during Sep, on Sun & Mon, it's only $60. We went into the casino and I lost $4.85, Bob won $32 and Ronny won $128. So all in all it wasn't a wasted trip.
