... and brie sandwich and looked around a Christmas gift shop. We stopped at an old church next for a quick photo opp and then rode to a scenic overlook of our ship and the town and the water. A few of us were looking at a bunny in the grass when out of nowhere a wild blue tongue skink emerged a couple feet from the bunny! You know you’re a reptile freak when this moment becomes more exhilarating than the koala petting experience.

Richmond is about 20 kilometres out of Hobart and a really pretty little place with the oldest bridge in Australia, the oldest Catholic Church in Australia and the oldest gaol, so a lot of history. We visited all of these and took photos before heading to the local bakery for a pie and coffee.

... it was soon washed clean. mopping up sick/ floods -on of the heads just kept leaking water everywhere. Physically I was exhausted by the end of the day, but I've never laughed so much as I did at some points in the day.
