Day 2 - Colca Canyon tour and then to Nazca
... Lunch was had at the same spot as the day before with pretty much the same menu. We boarded our van, now full with a small group from another company who we were giving a lift to the half way point between Chivey and Arequipa, and headed back to town. Arriving at around 3:30 we found ourselves at odds at gear to do. Yemi and Priya had to bless the food as godmother and godfather which was amusing to watch, Priya got particularity attached to the cross she had to hold. Dinner was ...
Lines in the sand.
... in a bar overlooking the sea. Next day we beat even that with our most budget accomodation yet - £6 each ! It did have secure parking and running water but the power only came on at 5pm - another personal ambition achieved by staying somewhere with part time electricity. Bizarrely they even had wifi once the power was on - but hot water was too much to ask. During the day we had ridden along the pacific coast with some superb views. At one point we came swooping ...
