Best little camp in town

The camp site was centrally located in town and we were within walking distance of most things. Basic facilities but clean. Bar area and pool were nice. Food at the restaurant "In da Belly" was decent and good value. Definitely try the warthog!

Can you believe that there is a day dedicated to these?? Very glad the weekend is here. Getting a bit tired and still not sleeping very well, freezing at night, full moon and all. Have decided to lash out and go to town for the short weekend. Spent the morning counting vultures, as you do, at a local "vulture restaurant" ( a regular feeding site …

We decided to splurge a little once we got to Victoria Falls since it is our 25th. Our original plan was to take …

The flight here was only just over an hour and I had the whole row to myself. The flight was half empty. When we were coming in to land I could see the spray from the falls in the distance, I just couldn't get a photo. Visa was easy and $30 (I was expecting $55) but the taxi was more expensive at $30 but it was 21km to town and every taxi had the …

Day 1

Flew into Zimbabwe very fatigued with a heavy cold, not an
ideal way to kick of the trip, but I was nonetheless happy and refreshed to be
at my destination for the time being. First port of call was a trip down the
main drag where we eventually shook of the guys trying to sell us billion
dollar bills and so …
