He did this several times - all the while yelling "Ayyy-ayyy-ayyy!!!" like a bad Mexican Mariachi player. I think this was an attempt to make this slightly terrifying descent more festive. They also had a gift shop where I bought salad forks carved out of wood and decorated with hand paintings of a hummingbird and green parrot. Then we headed up and more up closer to the mountains. We stopped at Rancho Mi Tata for lunch. It was a small restaurant along the side of the road. We had ...

... semester. Luckily they have wifi in the house which was one of my greatest fears so I will be able to communicate easily with friends from home and do school work here which is awesome. My room is small but it has everything I need. My family speaks to me in complete Spanish. I thought I was decent at Spanish until they started talking to me. Hopefully I will make some major improvements this semester and be able to communicate easier. I gave my costa rican mom ...
