... close to the marina that has music coming from it. I ate a lamb dish for dinner and since the Greeks eat dinner very late in the day and will frequently make an evening of it, it wasn't until close to 11 PM that we left the taverna.

I went back to the yacht to dress in my club clothes and to go to one of the few dance clubs that remained open over the winter. Although it wasn’t packed, the club was still a lot of fun and we had a great time.

It’s a little cool outside for a party island that is famous for its nude beaches and all-night dance clubs. This is the first time that I wished we were visiting Greece during the tourist season since the town almost feels empty and the beaches deserted.

... orange juice, taking exercise classes, bundling up between museums and spending a small fortune on face creams, treatments and make up. But, as I said, I have absolutely loved this experience. So, no complaints.

Today we are in Mykonos. And it finally looks like the movies. Not to insinuate Corfu and Athens weren't beautiful -- they just weren't the bleached white houses hanging from rocky cliffs. Mykonos is quite exactly that. I haven't gone into town yet ...

this trip was very special to me,because it was the first one after I finally finished with school and had the freedom to do everything I want,without anybody else controlling me!the only thing I wanted to do is find a nice place with great people to relax and so I did.i met many interesting people and it was a journey to remember!

... The most memorable and shocking I will divulge to you; while in a supermarket in Athens one of the girls bumped accidently into a Greek guy. She apologised for her clumsiness and continued to walk around the shop only to bump into the same guy for a second time. She apologised again and as she continued strolling around the shop she was telling herself to wake up and open her eyes. ... ve done nothing. I've sat a bit - sometimes in the schorching sun, generally in the shade. I've had a bit of a swim in both pool and ocean. And read. THe whole setup, especially at Milopotas beach where I was based, is like a resort - reminding me of Bali as the only other real resorty place I've ever been. Pools and bars set up only metres from the sandy beaches where hawaiian style umbrellas form interesting geometric patterns. In fairness to Ios ...

We stopped on this island enroute to turkey from santorini (santorini->Myknonos->Samos->Kusadasi). It was pleasent, we had a little snafu with the moped we rented. But we spent the day walking around and eating. And at dusk we spotted the disturbingly large pink pelicans. I also most say that the sunset on this island was the best of the entire trip. We didn't spend the night.

How on Earth did I get to be so lucky?

My family and I went on a cruise of the Greek Islands. We ate a lot, got sea sick once, soaked up the sun, and absorbed the classically beautiful white and blue colours on the islands. There weren't very much ship activities that my sister and I were interested in but Allyson and I did win a bingo game! Mykonos was by far our favorite island because of its beauty.
