Great stay in strandhill
Hi Just spending two weeks in Ireland having a great time; started out in Dublin and went to the North-West to Sligo. Staying in a lovely seaside village called Strandhill – stayed three nights in the Strandhill Lodge and Suites; the best hotel ive stayed in.... fabulous place great rooms... went surfing a few times the last couple of days and also tried the Seaweed baths – really relaxing break.

Nutty roads & BUSY day but we DID it!
First FULL Irish for Bha - called the Short Fry - yousers! couldn't do that every day! American and Welsh couple at breakfast - good chats about health care in USA lol. Then off to the Giant's Causeway.

A Wonderful Weekend in the Lakelands

Our B&B host gave us a lift up to Florencecourt, a National Trust site with designed views of the Cuilcagh Mountain and a wonderful old Manor. It was lovely and well worth the visit for lovers of history and architecture. For me, it paled in comparison to the natural beauty of the morning but it was still worth the visit. Report back Day 18...........Galway to Rosses Point outside of Sligo....... 18 August 2012 Dear Fearless Leader, We woke in the morning to a continental only breakfast. Day 8 - Galway, Connemara national park and Sligo
... not so! After 45 minutes and 6 of us looking we managed to locate him and we were off on the road to our hotel near Sligo.
