... and then shown to our rooms. We have a huge mansion for our family. Two massive bedrooms with huge bathrooms and outdoor shower. It is flash, flash, flash. We have a huge deck, kitchen, dining area and lounge. It all opens up. Oh, and it has a thatched roof. There is a pool at the main lodge and another just along from us a but which is great as the kids can bomb and make noise without disturbing the other guests. Up at 5am - yikes, it wasn't easy!
We could smell the dead rhino long before we got to it and made sure we weren't downwind of it as we watched the lion trying to chew his way into it for breakfast......mmmmmm, yum!

RJ tells us that they are returning from a raid on a termite mound because you can see eggs that are being carried in the mouths of some of the ants. They are named after an African tribe that destroyed everything in their path as they swept through south and central Africa in the 1800’s on raids and military campaigns. ...

    ... the area.

This was going to be the second time that I have been on a bush walk in a big 5 area. The last time I did a bush walk was in Kruger Park and that was over two years ago. I was a bit nervous that we would come across an animal before spotting it.

After about ten minutes I did start to enjoy the walk, but I was very aware of my surroundings and every little sound made me jump. We stopped to closely look at a community spider web. This was a huge ...
